SurveyShare allows paying members to download your survey data to your personal computer. The file you download is called a csv file (which stands for comma separated value). This is a format that Microsoft Excel is able to understand and import. Once it is in Excel, you can do the cross tabulations by clicking on a column heading. Respondents provide that password, instead of their email addresses to participate. SurveyShare also offers an 'Anonymous Unsecured' survey type where the respondent is not prompted for any identification.

In a Public survey, the respondent is still prompted for their e-mail address, but the survey is not secured. A respondent may enter any address to participate in the survey. With a Public survey, you do not have to enter the respondent's email addresses into SurveyShare prior to activating your survey. At the current time, SurveyShare does not let you compare the results of different surveys, or group results from multiple surveys together. This feature is under development.
